Treatment Suitability

Prior to any treatment you will have a consultation to assess whether or not the treatment is suitable for you, or likely to be successful. If we feel that the treatment is either not suitable or will not be successful, we will inform you as to the reasons why. If we believe that a treatment is not suitable for you, we may decline to treat you.

Treatment Expectations

As results vary from person to person, no guarantee can be given as to the precise results of any treatment undertaken. Every effort is made to ensure you have the best possible outcome but results cannot always be predicted. We will use what is considered best practice and up-to-date techniques to help achieve a good outcome, but please note there can be no guarantees as to the final outcome. Please be aware that your expectations and the predicted realistic outcome may be different and should be considered before undertaking any treatment with us.

Consent

You are required to give written consent to a treatment.

Confidentiality

Serious Skin Ltd will not discuss your treatment or share your details with any third party.

Appointments and cancellations

If you are unable to attend your appointment, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Missed appointments, arriving late to your appointment or failure to give the required notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Please note that if you do not attend with short notice or no notice we may decline to offer you a further appointment.

Prices

Our listed prices are subject to confirmation at the time of consultation. Prices are subject to variation without prior notice.

Botulinum Toxin Top Up Reviews

Complimentary Botox top up reviews must be done within 2-3 weeks of the initial treatment. If a top-up review is not booked within this time period or you fail to attend for your review appointment the offer becomes void. We are under no obligation to offer complimentary top-ups and they will be offered at the discretion of Serious Skin Ltd, with an administration fee of £20 per session.

Lip Filler Top Up Reviews

Complimentary Lip Filler reviews must be done within 2-3 weeks of the initial treatment. If a top-up review is not booked within this time period or you fail to attend for your review appointment the offer becomes void. We are under no obligation to offer complimentary top-ups and they will be offered at the discretion of Serious Skin Ltd, with an administration fee of £20 per session.

Microblading Top Up Reviews

The price of the microblading treatment includes one complimentary top-up. One further top-up may be undertaken but this will only be after assessment by Serious Skin Ltd and at our discretion. Further top-ups will be charged at £60 per treatment. As everyone’s skin reacts differently, we cannot guarantee the results of microblading and you should consider this before undertaking the treatment. There is the chance that the results you expect may take more than 2 sessions.

Complications

Although rare, some procedures have well documented complications. You specifically may have higher risk factors. We will, of course, treat these to the best of our abilities and knowledge as many complications can be managed simply and conservatively. Please note it is possible that any private medical insurance may not cover complications arising from cosmetic work.

Liability

Serious Skin Ltd will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provide us with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. Serious Skin Ltd will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details. The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, Serious Skin Ltd, regarding the care of a treated area.

Complaints

We endeavour to treat all of our patients/clients appropriately, compassionately and fairly. If however, in the unlikely event that you have an issue with any matter in relation to your treatment you are entitled to make a complaint and we will be happy to provide you with our complaints policy.
